Our General Terms of Hire
Age of Driver
Drivers must be aged 25 years or over and must possess a current open class manual Australian Drivers Licence.
A Bond is required
A cash bond of $500 is required on rental. Rental and bond are to be paid in advance.
Area Restrictions
Vehicles are available for hire and for promotion and advertising across South East Queensland.
Proof of Identity
Proof of identity will be required before commencement of hire (ie: Photo Licence).
Refueling Vehicles
Vehicles are supplied fully fueled unless otherwise agreed. It is the responsibility of the hirer to return the vehicle refueled. (Vehicles use Premium Unleaded fuel). A hirer failing to refuel will be charged an additional cost based on current fuel prices and mileage covered during the hire.
Roadside Assistance
All vehicles are covered by RACQ Roadside Service. Should a breakdown occur, firstly call RACQ using the membership card located in the glove box followed by contacting FJ Classic Car Hire. Should the vehicle be involved in an accident immediately advise FJ Classic Car Hire. We will arrange towing and the supply of a replacement vehicle if necessary.
Traffic Infringements
All and any fines relating to Traffic or Parking Infringements whether incurred by the nominated driver or hirer will be upon proof the responsibility of the hirer and paid upon demand without prejudice to FJ Classic Car Hire. (Read 'Terms and Conditions' stated in and by the Rental/Hire Agreement).
